1. The Service
EcomSeer helps business teams organize content, connect authorized social accounts, coordinate operational tasks, and review content and engagement information. Features may change as the service develops.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use EcomSeer for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization and to connect each account you add.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for accurate registration information, the security of your EcomSeer credentials, and activity performed through your account. Notify EcomSeer through the account support channel if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Third-Party Platforms: Facebook and TikTok
Third-party integrations are optional and require authorization by the relevant account owner. When connecting TikTok, authentication occurs through TikTok and your use remains subject to TikTok's own terms, policies, permissions, and technical limits.
You authorize EcomSeer to request and process only the permissions you approve, which may include basic profile and public video data for account identification, content association, dashboards, and analytics. You may disconnect the integration or revoke access. EcomSeer is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok unless expressly stated.
For Facebook Pages, you must hold the required Page management permissions and select the Pages you are entitled to connect. EcomSeer uses the permissions you grant to list those Pages, verify publishing access, publish the text and links you confirm, and read comments on posts belonging to your connected Pages when the required permissions are granted. Page authorizations and their data are scoped to the EcomSeer organization that initiated the connection. You are responsible for reviewing the Page and content before confirming publication. Published posts may be public.
Facebook integration is subject to Meta's terms, app review decisions, permission requirements, and technical limits. Connecting a Page does not guarantee access to every feature. If the result of a publishing request is uncertain, verify the Page before submitting the content again. EcomSeer is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or Facebook unless expressly stated.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use EcomSeer to:
- Break the law, infringe rights, mislead others, or distribute harmful or unlawful content.
- Access, connect, collect data from, or operate an account without the account owner's authorization.
- Bypass platform safeguards, rate limits, access controls, review requirements, or technical restrictions.
- Interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, probe security, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Resell or expose non-public platform data except as permitted by law and the applicable platform terms.
6. Customer Content and Responsibility
You retain rights in content and information you provide. You grant EcomSeer a limited right to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for confirming that your content, account operations, and instructions comply with law and third-party platform rules.
7. Data and Privacy
Our Privacy PolicyData Deletion explains how information is collected and used, including information received from connected Facebook Pages and TikTok accounts. Our Data Deletion Instructions explain how to request removal of connection data and publishing records. It forms part of these Terms.
8. Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Integrations may be affected by third-party outages, policy changes, permissions, quotas, or account restrictions. We may modify or discontinue features and will use reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption.
9. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the service and disconnect integrated accounts at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, platforms, or the service; address a violation; comply with law; or prevent harm. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain effective.
10. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, EcomSeer is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. EcomSeer is not responsible for third-party platforms or for decisions, restrictions, content removal, or account action taken by those platforms.
To the extent permitted by law, EcomSeer and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or platform requirements. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
